Biography

Ferris Vasko is an associate with Hamilton Duncan whose practice focuses on commercial and business litigation and employment law and human rights. Called to the British Columbia Bar in 2024, she has represented clients before the BC Supreme Court and the BC Human Rights Tribunal, bringing a creative and client-centered approach to each matter she handles.

Ferris articled at a national law firm where she gained experience on complex commercial and construction litigation files, building a strong foundation in high-stakes disputes. She then practiced at a boutique law firm where she regularly counselled and represented clients through employment and human rights matters, developing a keen understanding of the challenges individuals and organizations face in navigating these issues. Ferris is committed to helping members of her community solve problems in a way that achieves their goals and protects their interests.

Ferris obtained her Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern British Columbia (2020).

When not practicing law, Ferris can be found performing with The Lawyer Show, playing softball or hockey, travelling, or indulging her passion for music, theatre and shark tracking.
