JANUARY 15, 2024 | SURREY, BC – Hamilton Duncan, one of the largest and longest-tenured law firms in the Fraser Valley, is pleased to announce that it will join forces with Peterson Stark Scott, a law firm with its own long history in Surrey.
As of February 1, 2024, all six of Peterson Stark Scott’s lawyers and most of its staff will join Hamilton Duncan and practice under the Hamilton Duncan name from that firm’s existing offices in Surrey City Centre.
“This is Hamilton Duncan’s largest merger in recent history and comes at the perfect time for both firms,” said Greg Palm, Hamilton Duncan’s managing partner. “Our strategic plan calls for continued growth, so we were looking to add practitioners with established practices and deep roots in the Surrey community. Peterson Stark Scott was seeking to transition its practice to a larger firm that would both complement its current offerings and provide its clients access to a wider range of legal services while remaining in Surrey. This transaction accomplishes both.”
Established in 1971, Peterson Stark Scott has provided corporate, commercial, estate planning, real estate, family law, civil litigation and other legal services to the Surrey community since it first opened an office in Surrey in 1972.
