Biography
Manprit is an associate with Hamilton Duncan’s Corporate & Commercial Group, where he assists businesses and individuals with a wide range of corporate/commercial and real estate matters. He values developing trusted relationships with clients and delivering practical, strategic advice tailored to each client’s unique objectives and long-term success.
Manprit advises businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals on incorporations, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and the negotiation and drafting of agreements such as share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and commercial leases. Drawing on his background in residential real estate development and the construction industry, he also assists clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions, bringing a practical understanding of the business considerations involved in acquiring, selling, financing, and leasing property.
Manprit earned his law degree from Thompson Rivers University in 2025 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2026. Before joining Hamilton Duncan, he completed his articles at the Vancouver office of a large national law firm. He is fluent in English and Punjabi and brings a deep appreciation for the needs of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Beyond his legal work, Manprit was actively involved in the law school community during his time at TRU Law, serving as President and Chair of First Year Students of the Society of Law Students, Co-Founder and Co-President of the TRU Law Sikh Students Association, a founding member of the TRU Law Legal Networking Club, and Orientation Committee Lead.
When not engaged in his practice, he enjoys staying active through tennis, pickleball, and basketball, and discovering new restaurants with family and friends.
