Biography

Janice Fujikawa is an associate in Hamilton Duncan’s Estate & Trust Litigation Group, providing effective advice and representation to clients in connection with all manner of estate disputes, including wills variation claims, challenges to the validity of wills, resulting trust claims and many others. In addition to her litigation work, Janice also offers her clients practical and and proactive estate planning advice. Her ability to speak both English and Japanese facilitates her commitment to serving diverse clients with clarity and care.

Janice’s legal practice is supplemented by her involvement in organizations that promote equity and inclusion in the legal profession, including her role on the Executive Steering Committee of the Japanese Canadian Lawyers Association, an organization of which she is a founding member. She is also a member of several other professional associations.

When not practicing law, Janice enjoys hiking, skiing, running, basketball, painting, and travelling.
