Biography
Sylvia joined the Hamilton Duncan team as an associate litigator in 2021. She practices civil litigation, with a primary focus on insurance defence.
Prior to joining Hamilton Duncan, Sylvia articled at a boutique law firm in Surrey specializing in workers’ compensation claims and appeals. She has advised clients through all stages of the workers’ compensation claims process and successfully represented workers before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal.
Sylvia grew up in Surrey, BC. She studied Psychology at Simon Fraser University before attending law school at the University of Saskatchewan. During law school, she competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
Outside of the office, Sylvia enjoys being outdoors, hiking, watching basketball, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in Polish.
