He also worked for Queen’s Legal Aid, where he represented clients in a variety of landlord-tenant disputes, criminal matters and judgement enforcements.

Prior to law school, Jimmy received a Bachelor of Earth Sciences from Dalhousie University and worked as a geologist and environmental scientist in the mining, oil & gas, and environmental sectors of British Columbia and Alberta.

Jimmy’s natural advocacy skills and technical background allow him to act both as a strong litigator and as an effective regulatory counsel in complex environmental, mineral, oil and gas, energy, and Indigenous matters.
